User flow – How to create Live Classroom on Pedagog

B.Create Live Class1. Sign in to your Pedagog account and make sure you have already activated your membership 2. Go to “Instructor Area” under your profile3. Click “Pedagog Classroom” from side bar4. Click “+Create” to create a new live class session 5. Please enter the basic information of the class including Class Title, Class Overview etc6. If you would like to provide more detailed information, you can fill in the “Class Objective” and “ What would be taught in the class” 7. If you are a school admin and creating the live class for your teachers, you can make the teacher as the alternate host of the session by filling the teacher’s email address registered with Pedagog. Please make sure this teacher has the membership/license with Pedagog. 8. Select Repeat Type: – Single: You will only need to fill in the session starting time- Repeat: Please select the occurrence type, days of the week, total number of sessions, interval and session starting time. Here is an example: If your class is every Monday and Friday at 1:00pm from June 1st to 30th , you should choose “Weekly”, “Monday, Friday”, Number of sessions: 9, Interval: 0, Schedule Starting Time: you can choose from the calendar with June 1st, 01:00 PM9. Click “Save” on the top of the page and the class is created Note: Your alternate host will receive an email from Pedagog to invite him/her to join the class
C.How to add students to your class1. Click the class you created2. Click “View/Add Students” on the top3. Add students by filling their email address and click “submit” and you will find the student name list on the class page. Note: for students who have already registered on Pedagog, they will receive the email to invite them join this class session. For students who haven’t registered on Pedagog, they will receive the email to register on Pedagog and then join the session
D. To start teaching1. You can click “start teaching” from both the class creation page and the adding students page2. The system will direct you to your virtual classroom powered by Cisco Webex. If it’s your first time using the system, you will be requested to download Webex and you can start teaching
E.What functions are available on Pedagog-Webex virtual classroom platform (same as how you instructed our teachers to use webex)
